Effective July 5, 2026
This policy explains what UO Auctions.net collects and how it is used to operate the auction site.
The site may collect your username, email address, password hash, plugin listing password, selected shard, account settings, notification preferences, Discord user ID if you link Discord, auction listings, bids, watch list entries, messages, feedback, and uploaded item images or item data submitted by the listing plugin.
Information is used to create accounts, verify email addresses, let you list items, process bids, calculate Free Token and Gem balances, send opted-in notifications, prevent abuse, show public profiles and reputation, and help buyers and sellers coordinate delivery.
The site uses cookies and browser storage for login sessions, selected shard, search preferences, and other normal site features. You can clear these through your browser, but some features may stop working until you log in or choose settings again.
Forms may use hCaptcha to reduce abuse. Donations are processed through Stripe. Discord linking and direct messages use Discord. Those services process data under their own policies, and UO Auctions.net does not receive full payment card details from Stripe.
Listings, seller names, public profiles, visible feedback, item details, auction prices, bid counts, shard names, and similar auction information may be visible to other users or visitors. Private account information, plugin listing passwords, and email addresses are not intended to be public.
The site uses HTTPS and stores passwords as hashes. No website can promise perfect security, so use a unique password and keep your account information private.
Auction, bid, message, donation, feedback, and account records may be kept as long as needed to operate the site, resolve disputes, preserve auction history, prevent abuse, or meet operational requirements.
You can change email and Discord notification settings from your account page. You can disconnect Discord from your account page. For account or data questions, use the site's normal contact or account channels.
